Kim serves as First Church’s Director of Disciple Road, where she leads children and youth faith formation programming and fosters spiritual growth and community engagement for children & families. Her work at First Church centers on implementing child & family focused programs that nurture the spiritual lives of children while creating a vibrant, inclusive environment for faith exploration.
She holds a Master of Arts in systematic theology from Union Theological Seminary at Columbia University and a B.A. in Public Relations from Iona University.
Kim is also an adjunct instructor of religious studies & theology at Sacred Heart University, where she teaches courses in the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. With over 15 years of experience as a spiritual director and meditation facilitator, Kim has guided individuals and groups in deepening their spiritual journeys through contemplative practices. Prior to her current roles, she taught upperclassman theology at an all-boys Catholic high school in the Bronx, where she brought an innovative and compassionate approach to faith education.
Originally from Staten Island, NY, Kim has called CT home for almost 20 years. She lives in Black Rock with her husband, Eric, their son, Tommy, and a household of beloved pets. Kim brings a rich background of faith and education to her work, nurturing a holistic approach to spiritual formation and development for people of all ages.
